I believe I found a 2015 - Blue Ridge Parkway Quarter with the Clad missing on the reverse. This is my first day on here but I believe I may have found something. What are the ways to confirm such an error? Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks
Thank you for the response. What would make the reserve flat. There is absolutely no shine to it but the rim around the reverse has the silver and shine.
to the Forum! I would imagine it's probably environmental damage - it may have been lying on a windowsill or shelf somewhere for a few months with the reverse side up.
[q] your coin has not lost the clad layer - if it had it would look coppery like a Lincoln Cent. It will weigh less than 5.7 grams This coin has just dulled out due to environmental conditions.
