I believe I found a 2015 - Blue Ridge Parkway Quarter with the Clad missing on the reverse. This is my first day on here but I believe I may have found something. What are the ways to confirm such an error? Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks

It's not missing the clad layer. It's normal. See the link for an actual missing clad layer. https://www.pcgs.com/news/missing-c...-error-coins

Thank you for the response. What would make the reserve flat. There is absolutely no shine to it but the rim around the reverse has the silver and shine.

to the Forum!
I would imagine it's probably environmental damage - it may have been lying on a windowsill or shelf somewhere for a few months with the reverse side up.

Agree with NumisRob.

Too, an accurate weight to two decimal places would be useful to know. Missing clad will reduce the weight of a coin.

your coin has not lost the clad layer - if it had it would look coppery like a Lincoln Cent. It will weigh less than 5.7 grams
This coin has just dulled out due to environmental conditions.
