I've had this extremely nice set of aluminum Presidential medals for a long time now and I still don't know anything about them. They go from Washington through Johnson (1st- 36th Presidents) but there's no end date on Johnson's medal so I figure these were produced in the early 1960's but there's not any identifying mint or brand marks on any of them so I don't have a clue who minted them. Any help identifying these would be greatly appreciated!!!

Check ebay.
I think they were given free with a full tank of gas.

These have similar obverses to the promotional tokens issued for The Shell Game that were given out at Shell Stations across the nation for filling up with gas, but those have "The Shell Game" on the reverse...

Can we get pics of the reverse of a medal. Will help with identification. Franklin mint produced medals for gas station promos in the 1960's.

Here are the reverses of the first four medals...

The rest are more of the same. Lists each president's high lights of their career and their nickname's.

I thought I had looked at each medal individually over time, but apparently I did not....Eureka! I found a clue! Every medal's reverse is more of the same except for one....Abe Lincoln. Check it:

And now the wife is dragging me furniture shopping for our new house we're building.
So I'll have to continue my research later...

Pretty Cool! America's oldest private mint. Went to the website. (and they did produce the Shell Presidents giveaways mentioned above)

Cincinnati Oh. - Lincoln's coins reverse apparently was the only one with enough room to add that notation of origin.
