Hi there one. Received the pictured medal and couldn't find information on it. Found information on the meda with the stamp below bust but not this one. Does anyone know if this is legit?
Thanks in advance.

There were a great number of commemorative medals issued by different entities to commemorate the Coronation.

What do you mean by legit? If you're asking if this medal was issued by The Royal Mint the answer is no.

Nice medal. This is listed as #3764 in British Historical Medals 1760-1960. It states that the silver examples are hallmarked to Birmingham 1901 with the initials AF. The design was registered to Arthur Fenwick Ltd. It was made in bronze and silver.

The coats of arms on the reverse intrigue me. The one on the right is obviously the regular British shield, England-Scotland-Ireland, but the one on the left is... unorthodox, definitely unofficial, and is presumably meant to stand for the colonies of the British Empire: you've got the beaver for Canada, the kangaroo for Australia, the Star of India for India, and a scales and sword which I can only assume is intended to represent British Africa (South Africa, East Africa, or maybe both). And I'm not sure what the lion-and-six-dots in the middle of that left shield is supposed to be representing; it's not Scotland.

Yes, as I said - the shield on the left has five parts, and each part (presumably) represents a piece of the Empire: the kangaroo for Australia, the beaver for Canada, the star for India, and... I'm stumped on the other two.
