Hi everyone! Hope you are doing well!

I have a question about the 1992-p Lincoln Cent listed as wddo-002 doubleddie.com and 1DO-001 coppercoin.com.

Im very confused about this one because coppercoin has a note saying that it's not a doubled die but a die gouge, but Wexler say best of variety, so I'm wondering is this doubled die or not? Thank you in advance for your help!

I attached the links for both sides.

This one is very controversial. I have found 3 of these CRH. I don't think it's a DDO in my opinion. Might be a Die Chip or Die Gouge. Not sure what caused it exactly.

Thank you @E&V appreciate it your opinion! Yes coppercoin says is die gauge as well. Hope others members also can tell they thought about this too. And maybe Mr Tanner can tell us his opinion on this as well.

This is one reason that I usually stick to only one main resource for determining DDOs (keeps me sane)

I do check the others for reference purposes though.

Thank you John!

Thank you Dearborn! Yes I like to use doubleddie.com, but I sometimes I use coppecoin to have an idea of the value of the coin. But when I did check last night I found that coppercoin has a note about this that is not doubled die but a well place die gauge.

I am in the gouge camp but have always believed it good to use all the major attributing sites, as they are all highly regarded folks. They agree on the majority of doubling out there and we cannot rule out any of their thought processes. It's good to think for yourself too occasionally.

Thank you mikecents! I asked and few of you think and agree that this is a gauge, so thank you so much on the input.

I'm not very expert at this but, I find this variety pretty cool and I love it, so as doubleddie.com stated I'm going to take it as a doubled die as well

Thank you everyone! You all have a good evening!!
