1803 East India Company 5 Cash:  This is my only coin dated 1803! We are going back into the dark days of Mad King George, when British coin issues were few and far between! |

We have had copper and silver for 1803 (very nice East India coin, NumisRob!), here is the gold: France year 12 (1803-1804), 40 francs.  Year 12 is according to the French revolutionary calendar which was still in use at this time. The revolutionary year lasted from Sept-Sept, so this coin is from 1803-1804. |
