Stone Mountain Half Dollar - Send To TPG ? If Not. . .what's The Grade ?

Would you consider this a worthwhile grading example ? Asking because I'm slowly aggregating coins to submit to ANACS under its 2024 "show special" discount. Might add this one to the submission. So when I put it away with the rest of my commemoratives, what grade should I put on it ? Dearborn, my intent is to accurately describe (and document ) the relative value of the coinage in my collection. I have a ton of stuff one can look up in a RedBook or find "recently sold" values on the ebay. The items I have set aside for grading will expedite their dispersal when I'm six feet under. I have no illusions that what I've inherited from my Dad and what I've collected in my lifetime is going to be passed down to my grandkids. My sole heir has no interest in my stuff ( my vinyl collection excepted ) and when the time comes, she'll liquidate it. Making that task easier is the primary reason I'll be getting things graded. Suggest you temper that with the reality that some coins (such as this Stone Mountain) are worth less than the grading fees. Best to place it in a labeled 2x2 with the grade AU written on it.
