So not asking for grading just a opinion. I don't collect these. But I bought a lot for 350$ The coin I wanted was the 1928P peacedollar that I hope Is atleast high AU. The rest is bonus Included is a number of us commems and some morgans and a canada and ike and kennedy. I don't expect much value from the morgans. So are these commems generally just bullionvalue or is there something interesting in the lot? Best pics I have atm. It will be shipped to me. By law I have 14day return. Thankful for help Edited by Moniker 08/14/2024 1:59 pm

The US Constitution coin was never released as bullion, but if it has been handled and fingerprinty then it will be bullion.

Thanks DB, the 28 is the key. Its a gamble. If its cleaned its a return. The 2 morgans on top might be ok. The lone one looks overdipped. The rest might be just silvervalue except the nickels. Most commems seem to be silvervalue even if in good quality.

Seems like a fantastic deal assuming the Peace dollar is really a 1928 philadelphia

The commens are just common and in the condition they are in, just bullion. There is little to no extra premium.

Tx Hfjacinto figured so, well atleast some silver. i think the Canada is no shoulder fold always neat Quote:Seems like a fantastic deal assuming the Peace dollar is really a 1928 philadelphia Yes if its not cleaned its a very nice deal. It looks to have good luster. But I'm always pesimistic, before the coin is in hand. But the reverse shows no S on the pics, but I have read forgers altered S-variant and removed the S. But finding a unslabbed 28P in good condition is almost to good to be true But I have the right to return

Moniker, if you don't mind, go to the US Peace and Morgan dollar VAM section when you get these. Take nice clear pics of the obverse and reverse of each, with their own individual threads for each coin. They may not be anything special but some of my best VAM finds have been from mixed lots like this. Hope the best for your Peace dollar!

Well you win some and loose some. The peace turned out To be a crappy 1923 as I feared. They will be going back. The kennedy and kanada was au to low ms The commems actually nice but since they all Bullion value coins I don't think keeping the lot would be justified valuevise. One morgan dipped one might be cleaned one ms63 81s. But questionable mark/wear on cheek. I will be posting it in Us coin grading. But still little value. Wouldnt have bought this without returnpolicy
