Looking for opinions on grade and Overton variety.

This one I believe is the 1822/1, not sure of the Overton.

Photo lighting and skills are poor, so keep that in mind. Most of these I am posting today appear perfectly original.

Also, for the Overton experts, please provide an opinion also on the premium - the PCGS guides barely show any having a premium.

Thank you!

I'll say MS-62.

IH, this is not 1822/1. The only Overton that I see as a match is O-109. But there's some extra weirdness going on with the stars and what looks like repunched or doubling of for example the last "A" in America and the arrow head nearest the "A". So will be curious what the experts have to say on this one.

I'll go with AU-58 on the grade, but probably higher, what I'm seeing could be strike related.

Has the lump inside the last 2, but after more research I'm calling this 1822 O-109. Waiting for a more knowledgeable member...

AU53. Date and stars merit closer examination, not sure if that is tracking due to Die Deterioration or actual doubling.

AU-55 Details Cleaned. Not an attractive coin and the TPGs will not like that either, particularly the strange reverse coloring.

This is either an O-109 or O-109a, the die crack that designates the latter lines the bottom of RICA, and is difficult to see even with a glass. The rarities are R-3 and R-5- respectively. From the Die Deterioration I would lean toward the 109a R-5-, in which there really isn't a significant premium.

That effect is due to metal flow and is seen on this type and most commonly Morgan dollars.
