Some extremely rare ones sold much cheaper than only scarce others. A peça from Minas is not easy to find. I have only seen one better looking one from that mint. But there were some cheap rarities only because details? Perhaps I can advance my collection while other people are distracted with mint state coins. Technically this one was a portuguese coin. The peças of 4 escudos were struck in a mint in Brazil for circulation in Portugal. Its use in Brazil was not unlawful but Brazil had its own gold coins with a different gold standard.
