I was advised that the reverse has a weak strike which is the reason I retook another shot of the lower stars. I don't know how a weak strike affects the grade in general or if there actually is evidence of one. My questions are what is the grade and how does one detect a weak strike if present?

The star at 4 o'clock does have all the lines although feint.

fully struck bars on the shield are imo a premium. this one is pretty good. strike does affect grade however its minimal unless its really bad.

Based on a Photograde comparison, I would say AU-55. It's a really nice coin for the age.
