In my experience there seem to be different grading standards between US and non-US coins. I would be interested to hear your opinion on the grade of the following coin:

No experience with grading non-US but I gather near flawless at 66 or higher. That said, I would assume it is a proof.

A quick Numista check shows $1000 for uncirculated and no price for proofs, but the proof mintage appears to be tiny. I agree that with very limited knowledge, it does look like a proof. At that value, it probably deserves gloves.

Thank you for those who welcomed me, greatly appreciated &

For those of you who guessed proof, you were right. Thats the good news.

The bad news is that PCGS determined that its only a PR63.

Honestly, when I look at some of the US PR coins out there then I get the feeling that grading for non-US coins is wayyy stricter.

It might also just be that my pictures are bad :)

idk know, I feel small marks are more visible on the mirrorlike fields on proofs than nonproofs I wonder if that makes a difference

Looks like a proof to me. PF-65 only because of a few small hairlines.
