AFAIK there's a ton of minor spelling variants in Severan denarii from eastern mints (where the mint workers wouldn't have been particularly good at Latin). It wouldn't surprise me at all if some of them are unpublished.
EDIT: Wildwinds records a VENERI VIC as [the second] "RIC 632 var", attributing it to "S. Hasen collection, ex ricardo DE, 2005" [sic]. Their coin looks like a double die match to your coin.
I couldn't find any examples of this legend on ACSearch or Numista.
EDIT 2: the Wildwinds entry is attributed to "Emesa or Laodiceia" (rather than Alexandria), which might be a factor in why you weren't finding it. AFAIK the distinction between specific eastern mints is largely a matter of minor style differences, and I don't know remotely enough about those to have any idea which attribution is more plausible for your specific coin.
