Hello again guys, got this 1992 penny with double columns, any one else got anything similar, I'm aware it's usually the 1994 with double columns but this coin appears to have them too. Thanks in advance for any feedback, cheers
Alun.

Just as I thought, people only reply to my posts when I make a mistake lol, jump all over it, because this coin actually has doubled columns you don't have anything to say, point proved.

Remember, your initial post was early on a Sunday here.

What I see is promising is on the left side of column #11.

It will be helpful (especially with "Column" DDRs) to point out which side of which numbered column you're seeing it on.

Were you able to match it up to a known variety number?
Others will be along.

Yawn!!! just woke up here on the West side of the 'ole pond here. Did I miss anything?

Can you get a bit more specific on which columns you see doubling on? there are a few that are 'supposed' to be doubled, as it is part of the design.

It would help folks to help you if you researched the known varieties and try to find a match and describe what you see and believe to be a match.

As for replies... putting people down tends to make folks refrain from replying as well IMHO.

Edited to add:
I was looking for that Dearborn, thanks!

And I'm a little interested the right side of bay 9.

I used the term variety because that is the major heading under which doubled dies fall on error-ref:

See
Part II. Die Varieties:
https://www.error-ref.com/?s=Variety

Also see Doubled Dies
PART II. Die Varieties:
Doubled Dies:
https://www.error-ref.com/doubled-dies/

Perhaps my interpretation is incorrect.
If so, my apologies, and I have learned something new!

Column #1 & #12 have a second column as part of the design, like Dearborn shows in his response.

Now it might be my tired eyes but I swear I see (in the 4th image) what looks like a light "phantom" statue to the NE of Lincolns statue. Also, an extra "foot" between column #6 and the leg on our left.

Anyone else?

Not sure what I'm seeing. No matches on any of the 3 sites. Pics are good but lighting may not be the best for showing doubling. Bays 2, 3, 8 and 9 may be of interest.
