maismoedas Valued Member Brazil 119 Posts	Posted 09/02/2024 8:31 pm Hello folks I have this coin I am not able to identify. It is 19 mm and 1 gr. My first guess was Basel but although the cross is similar the shield is different. Any information would be appreciated. Report this Post to the Staff

Below is a link to a similar coin from Breisach, Germany but I don't see a Vierer listed yet on numista. maismoedas Valued Member Brazil 119 Posts	Posted 09/03/2024 12:20 am Thanks Spence Breisach was one of my options due to the cross, but I rulled it out because of the coin's collor. I thought it was maed of cooper. But tossing it on the table it really sounds like silver. In the end your are right, something funny has happened to this coin get this collor.
