First of three 1923 Peace dollars for your input. There is a scratch to the left of the lips that can be seen clearly with the eye but is not coming across as clearly in the photo.

Even with some luster EF-45 is about as high as it would go.

Don't really see much wear- just the hair/cheek and very light, but everyone seems to grade at XF45.
Granted it is not very appealing, I still would think AU50- please tell me where I am wrong

Wouldn't really argue with AU-50, but it's still just a bullion-tracker.

Understood that this is a common date, and xf-45 vs AU-50 won't make a difference. I guess I was always taught that XF-45 should have slight wear on much of the coin's design....
