Hi all,

today, I was doing my home inventory database and I am on my coin collection. As I was valuating using the Red Book (I know, they don't sell for half that much sometimes) I couldn't find a souvenir set price -- 1985d

So, does anyone know what this is valued at?

Also, I noted that these may be more than the uncirculated sets that have an extra coin in it (minus the token). Why would the souvenir sets be worth more than the d uncirculated sets?

One other question... I bought accidentally a while back for just a couple dollars, two silver 1999s Pennsylvania and Connecticut quarters and the RedBook has them at 45.00 while ebay they are actually selling more? What's up with that?

Lastly, when doing an insurance value, the Red Book price, even though the highest, is what to use? For my other items, I have been taking all the Ebay/Google prices and taking middle of the road values.

Any insight would be appreciative to this unknowledgable fledging!

Thanks.
