I've been going through some odds and ends that were among a group I bought from a coin shop. This copper coin is very worn - there is a coat-of -arms with a crown over and bearers on one side. On the other side it looks like Islamic or Asian lettering but that may be Pareidolia. Dime is for size comparison! Thanks!

Two lions? stallions? supporting a crowned and turreted shield. You can see what looks like "..ST.." on the back, or maybe "..LS.."

First thoughts include Romania, the Netherlands, Belgium, the British East India Company, or a Conder token perhaps.

I think @triggersmob is right: 1812 token from Cornwall.

TBH at this size and with a weird unfamiliar coat of arms I'd have also expected some kind of Conder token. Of course there's so many of those that it's very hard to search...

Thanks triggersmob!

I was starting to think it must be a token as it didn't seem to match any world coins!

Good job, trig!
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures
