numismatic student Bedrock of the Community United States 11880 Posts	Posted 09/08/2024 09:35 am This is a 1913-D Type 1 Buffalo nickel as the buffalo stands on a mound. As such it is a one year design/type that is not very difficult to obtain in higher grades. The coin looks to have no marks and looks well struck with a split tail. It looks MS65 or higher, but the luster is not visible as I would expect, especially in the reverse. That may be the lighting or the pictures. Nice die crack between the L and I in LIBERTY.
