This one is not attractive to me with the toning. VF 30 in my opinion. Overall I would pass on this one.

Are you looking to add a type coin? If so, I believe you could find one of these with better eye appeal for less money.

Thanks A&R. What do you think this grades and what do you think I should have paid for it? I did buy it for its eye appeal which I realize isn't everyone's cup of tea.

I like it. I bet it looks better in hand than in the photos. I'm in the XF45 camp, and acquired at a good price with some upside.

This one is in an ANACS soapbox and was graded XF40. I see a lot of coins in XF40 holders as this is a fairly common coin, and they often have really terrible surfaces. Based on these pictures, this coin looked to have great surfaces. It comes tomorrow and I'm looking forward to examining it in hand.

Looks strong for a 40 but the strike is probably below average. Surfaces/color look good.

This came in. Dark toning has bright blue toning around the edges but it does seem terminal on that it should continue to darken over the years. Happy with it nevertheless.
