Brandmeister Pillar of the Community United States 6495 Posts	Posted 09/16/2024 5:04 pm Purchased on ebay, clearly labeled as a DDR. This is a Pass Me Specs! (TM) coin, with delicate split serifs on all of E Pluribus Unum and United States of America. The splits show the best on Five Cents, which is a bit unusual, because usually split serifs are more pronounced the further out from the center you go. 1981-D 5c WDDR-002 There is no die crack marker on this coin, so it is an earlier die state than shown in the Wexler catalog. The scratches beneath FIVE are clearly present. Report this Post to the Staff
