Greetings folks,

I think I may have found my first RPM, but I will leave that for you to judge.

The coin:

1952-D-Cent---Potential-RPM

The Detail:
1952-D-Cent---Potential-RPM

I can see doubling in the serifs on the left side of the D.

I am having a hard time getting a match on Copper Coins, because the mint mark probably has been deformed due to circulation.
The closest I come is 1952D-1MM-035 pictured below:

1952-D-Cent---Potential-RPM

I would appreciate your insight in the matter.

I can see it, but I would wait for better eyes to comment.

Tough to tell with these pics and the circulation damage. The mm location looks pretty good for mm-035 though. Can you find any of the markers?

I tried the die markers for the 1952D-1MM-035 and all the ones Copper Coins said were similar. I could find no die marker match on any of them. Even though this coin seems to be in AU condition, I wonder if even that much wear is enough to make it impossible to make out those extremely fine die markings.

It does have promise for 035. Better pictures/closups of MM and some die marker matches would help..

It is an RPM035 the position is correct, unfortunately the coin is in a pretty low grade to fetch any premium.

It is a good thing that I am a coin collector then, and not a premium collector.

Thanks to everyone for their kind and helpful comments.

So exciting, I found my first RPM!
