Hello everyone. I read a lot of the posts but didn't want to post and be "that guy." So I've been reading, watching a lot of coin talk U and other videos to learn. I really gravitated to double ears for some reason I really enjoy them. I feel like I'm finally starting to understand the differences in doubling. Mostly pennys but I bought a bunch of mint sets & I'm losing my mind with the half's. I've been researching. Obviously I couldn't find DDO 1990 D. So I specifically ask "if some of the letters were struck on top of each other, what is that called? Google sent me somewhere & seri said if you can see the letters 2 even 3 times on top of each other than you have a double die.
Sorry for the long speech I wanted you guys & ladies to know I not only appreciate but respect your time & help! Beem tryinb for 2 hours to find something similar. That just through me off. You can clearly see the B to the SE. Then the "R" had me 2nd guessing & don't just dismiss because nobody had found one yet. It has the metal flow inside the R. Its raised not flat, you can clearly see the lines (I tell myself think of kt as steps) & I recently read the sheriff's can help distinguish, since MD won't have it specifically talking about the 1970 S penny if that also applies to halves. You will see it on every letter but the B, E,
R I think looking via pics is the best.

Nothing was uploaded.

We will gladly help you, but we will need images first. We are locking this topic to prevent posts with "We need images". You will get many more quality responses when there are quality images in the first post of a topic. Please start a new topic when you are able to upload pictures. If needed you can use the testing forum. Tutorials are below.

Note: When you start a new topic this one may be removed. So don't panic if you get an email that your topic was removed it's only this one.

PC: We highly recommend IrfanView. (Download) (Irfanview Tutorial)

Apple Computers: Tutorial here: http://goccf.com/t/466343

Cell Phones (iPhone or Android): First, do not upload cell phone pictures of screens. They are terrible. Please check your camera settings are set to Medium quality. If it uses compression use 70%, it's perfectly fine for the internet. For file type please use WEBP if your phone has it, otherwise JPG. Avoid PNG and GIF, they are horrible choices. Be sure to crop the image to only show the coin. This is a great setup for cell phones.
