2004-P Wisconsin Quarters With Struck Through From ? Die Grease?

GarmpaShark New Member United States 11 Posts	Posted 09/28/2024 6:26 pm I came across these and found it was odd. In total, I have 9 of them. On the Obverse, below the "Y" at Wash. neck, there is a "patch" of "texture". When I move the coin to contract-look, it is depressed into the coin. On the Reverse, I found the same below the 1848, in a much larger patch. It is the same for all 9 coins, however I cannot get them all into a single picture as I need a specific light/angle to capture with a camera. Opinions? Report this Post to the Staff
