Nice coin. I would keep it in the NGC holder. It may cross to PCGS but who knows for sure. I know one thing about the grading companies. I have been sending my coins now to CACG because they are brutal in grading. When you get a coin graded by them, wow that coin is beautiful in that grade. CACG would grade this a ms 63 or 64 possibly. I am always now looking to buy coins graded by CACG because I think in the future people will be going for coins graded by them. This is only my opinion. Your coin is nice.

Yes the coin was just as nice as I could have hoped for. I was surprised considering what I paid for it based on the Greysheet. I went to a PCGS onsite grading show in Dallas this week and a dealer told me to get it crossed over. He felt it would cross at the same grade. I'd get it back the next day. Cost $150. I decided just to leave it in the NGC holder. I did drop off some other raw error nickels but they never told me they don't attribute varieties at shows. I just got slabbed basic grades. They apparently don't even designate full steps at the shows. Just something to be aware of if anyone ever goes to a PCGS onsite grading show.
