Bought this on ebay for $9 as an example of a current Jefferson nickel die clash. It was sold as WDDR-045. The die clash is evident as a line through Jefferson's eyes and protruding out the right side of his face. That line was created by the bottom of the steps. On the reverse, the eyes and facial features are clashed between Monticello and the steps. You can also see a curved line in the right door, which is the edge of Jefferson's cheek.
The clash does not photograph particularly well under magnification, although it seems to appear adequately with axial lighting.
I am happy to have one to examine in-hand. I can already see that detecting similar clashes on a super shiny nickel is going to be harder than I previously thought.
