I found this in my dad's old coin collection and was wondering what kind of error this is. The middle part of the edge is missing/inset all the around. The coin weighs 10.9g. Thanks

Does look like other acid eroded coins we've seen here. This one looks so neat & tidy though.

to the CCF The acid used reacted with the copper before it destroyed the copper nickel.
