Yesterday I found my first WAM it a a 1998 nice and red. And today I got another one from 2000. Yesterday and today I searched through about fifteen bucks worth of pennies. So I was wondering how many WAMs do you get in a box of 25$?

WAM is referred to Wide AM. On the reverse on the Lincoln Memorial cent In the Word "America" first two letters are close together, but if they are further apart they are cold WAM Wide AM. Those are rarer, this website has a list of WAMs http://www.lincolncentresource.com/wideams.html

I search about one and a half boxes a month for a few years now and I have found two 2000 WAM's in EF-AU condition.

I am well over 20 1998 and 2000 WAMs now. I go thru about 3 boexs a week and find one about every two weeks so I guess that would be 1 in every 6 boxes. It also seems that finds are becoming less frequent, for what that is worth. And, still have not found the !%$$^$!# 1999.
