I thought this would be a fun idea for a new topic. Post a coin AND banknote depicting the same person. I'll start with the 10-franc coin issued by France in 1985 to commemorate the great 19th-century writer Victor Hugo, best known now for 'Les Miserables': Here is a 5-franc note issued in 1962 by the Banque de France that also depicts Victor Hugo:

Too bad Ike has never been on a note. I will leave the US half/hundred-dollar, quarter/one-dollar, nickel/two-dollar, and penny/five-dollar examples for others to post.

You didn't specify that we had to own the coins and bills, so I'll add a US pair that I don't own. William McKinley was the 25th US president, and he was assassinated during his second term in 1901. The McKinley commemorative gold dollar was issued 15 years later to finance the McKinley Birthplace Memorial (photo from PCGS). He was later depicted on the $500 note, series 1928 and 1934 (photos from ebay).
