JohnWayne007 Pillar of the Community Canada 1186 Posts	Posted 10/06/2024 02:13 am I recently had the opportunity to search a number of bank wrapped 1980 small cent rolls this past week and managed to pull a nice BU example struck on a 3.1g planchet like the one LindalCoins recently posted about here http://goccf.com/t/469673. Since this one was directly out of an unopened bank wrapped roll, I will be sending it off to PCGS with my next shipment in hopes for the "1980 1C Struck on Barbados 3.1g Planchet" attribution. They are out there! When you start weighing small cents you get a general idea of what the common weights are for that specific date. For 1980 they all weighed in around 2.78 to 2.81g (normal) and when this one hit the scale it was 3.1g dead on. Quote: Are the diameters identical on these two coins?
