There was a whole thread on this about a year ago. You can read through the thread. I'm not sure what the conclusion was on these.

Also, you should post obverse and reverse picture of your coin and then the area of concern. It helps with analyzing the coin.

It's not worth sending this coin in for grading in my opinion.

It's still there - looks like it was hit and flattened and elongated. The dot between the V and D is what it's supposed to look like, the dot after the B seems to be missing.
EDIT: Looks like the B is a bit flattened too.
