You should instead be downloading your pictures from the Tomolov to a computer and cropping, resizing etc. I have a Tomolov also. Photos of the actual microscope screen are no good.

Unfortunately I don't have a desktop or laptop, all I have is my iPhone and my Tomlov. I don't know if it helps out any but here are some more pics.

I don't know if this info would help but I found this penny in a jar of pennies that hasn't been opened in over 40 years.

Yes, those new images work just fine. Now as you can see, there is a lot of metal movement (out of place) When a coin is struck, it is held in place by a collar. This collar helps to form the edge and rim. By looking at your coin, the metal extends beyond the limits of the collar. This means that pressure and another object was crushed against the obverse mating dents. In this case letters - most likely from another Cent coin. When these dents formed the metal had to move somewhere, so it went outwards, creating the little 'spurs' you see on that last image.

@Dearborn could that have happened at the mint when the coin was made? Could another coin have got stuck in between when it was being created or is that Post Mint Damage?

Hi BillyWhite! As everyone has said, your coin seems to be PMD, but if you want to learn more about an error very similar to this PMD coin read this: Rim-restricted Second Strikes: https://www.error-ref.com/?s=Rim-re...cond+StrikesAlso I want to share with you this ($8) sd card reader that I bought from Amazon. I have a computer, but for me is easier to put my camara or my microscope's sd card in this card reader and plug in to my phone and transfer all my photos to my phone. Hope this can help you

@gigii2110 thank you so much for that info. I'm going to check out that link so I can learn more about it and I'm going to invest in that SD card reader from Amazon. Thats definitely a much cheaper option than getting a computer &
