I have this piece for a while now. Dryer Coin? Is it a keeper or something else? Edited by Dough101 10/12/2024 09:19 am

@dou, you posted this thread in the variety and error subforum, but in looking at the coin and reading your question, I don't think that this is the intent. Are you interested in having folks weigh in with approximate grade? I could it move it to that subforum or else just the main modern coin subforum if you are truly just looking on opinions on whether this coin should be spent or saved. Thx for clarifying your intent.

You're not serious about spending it are you? You can easily look up the value. You should have your post sent to the grading forum and go from there.....

@Spence I just corrected my heading. I meant to ask this question. Thank you for noticing it.

If you can find a bubble gum machine that still takes cents, you should send it....

Maybe do you mean a so-called " Dryer Coin"? If that is your question, then my answer is no.

If real it's worth a few bucks Where did it come from? Recent circulation find? A while ago one of the coin dealers made a video about aliexpress fakes being released into circulation.

better images in focus would help us here, but no, this is NOT a dryer cent.
