Just enjoy a nice turkey dinner like we always have .
And keep the " left and right legs " out of it .

Happy Thanksgiving all! It was nice having a three day weekend . It gets too cold up here by November, so we have ours before Halloween.

That depends !
I happen to think that even in today's toxic world
Canada and the USA are still the best countries in the world
to live in . We have the best of both in our family , my wife
is American and I am B.C. born and bred .

Here in Canada, thanksgiving is a fairly low key affair, not like in the USA. No massive sales, for instance. It is a nice reason to get together with family and friends, but nobody talks much about the meaning, although likely the foundational reason is probably the same.
