Is this a repunched mint mark? If so it will be my first one ever found. Got it in a $100 bank box.

Not a chance as mint marks were no longer hand punched on the dies after 1990. Just a case of severe Die Deterioration, you can see it on the whole surface of the coin in that pic.

That stinks!! I was hoping I had finally found one. I don't understand Die Deterioration very much so I'll have to do some "investigating".
