Hi!

I wanted to see if yall could help me identify the reverse of this bicentennial coin. Would it be considered a Type-1 or Type-2? I'm leaning towards type-2, but again I'll take better opinions for the experts!

Thank you for any help or guidance you may provide!

Variety 2.

I prefer "variety" to "type" because that is how they are referenced in the Red Book.

This example looks polished or plated.

have to say this coin looks plated. That's a shame. Great photos!

I prefer RDV-005 because that makes me look mysterious! =P

There's not much mistaking Type/Variety 1 and 2. Type 1 has ginormous 1970s block letters, and Type 2 has thinner, normal text letters.

That PCGS page has a good side-by-side visual comparison.

(I prefer Type 2 versus Variety II because it is easier to type out..
