12-20-2024 Just an observation.... I get $20.00 dollars in nickels on Tues. & Thurs. every week. The last 2 weeks when I'm done going through them this is what I have found.... 4 1939's no D's 3 1941's 2 1958's 2 1957's 2 to 3 1968-1970's 10 to 15 1960 -1976 P or D's 12 2004-2005 Westward Journey ... bright and shinney brand new. Is this common or has someone dumped a lot of old nickels from some one's old hoard. Some were Loomis wrapped and some were customer wrapped. What does everyone else find. Jeff

Very common to find the 2004-2005 nickels in high grade... they were mass-marketed and saved in quantity, so you frequently see them dumped back into circulation en masse.
CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!
