I was able to search several rolls of the 1951 commemorative nickel and found a bunch of the half moon die clash. Here are three of the strongest ones.

What part of the Obv is it from? Can you overlay Obv/Rev? You're talking about under/on the "!" right?

Left side of the stack, under the 1 , I was told it is the inner part of the kings ear.

Thanks Brandmeister that overlay shows it well. Those are actually three different coins. They are also no where near as prominent as the one Houndog Bill shows.
