i would not cancel just b/c thats what it says. Its probably something automatic that does that when they have a lot of sales. just hang tight for a few days

Why would you cancel something you paid $8.95 for and can probably sell for $50.00 or more as soon as you receive them? Besides, you don't pay for them till they ship.

Guys......I think he meant that he feared the Mint would cancel his orders.......not himself.

Huh? 20 million? 400k rolls? Looks like the mint broke its (mintage) promise. I shake my fist in anger at you, USMint!

Exactly what I was wondering might happen. The banks don't want any.......collectors did/do........so they more than doubled it.....profits included !
We'll see how much "ramping up" the Mint does with LP3 & LP4 however.....if they do this "to meet collector demands"......then the LP1 will be "the one" out of the four designs.......if they scale it back again......that'll be great !
all still good ! ...
I'm still waiting to see if they cut production numbers of the Lincoln along with the dime and the nickel.......we are only just barely half way through here. Patience ...Patience ...Patience...
Remember......."low mintage numbers" do not guarantee SQUAT for value! "That" plus other factors only "might" give the ingredients for "enjoyable sustained values", but guarantees absolutely NOTHING !

Limited supply and interest....hmmmmm....just remains to be seen.

... I never ordered any "to sell" in the first place ! ..

They were always just intended for my collection, for future gifts to family/loved ones, etc. etc. etc.

I "did" order an extra LP2 Set thinking I might try to sell it to pay for the other three......never "sold" a coin in my life before.....but it was getting mighty tempting I tell ya ! .
And now that might not be that great of a prospect for me (esp. since I don't ebay).....
But this changes ABSOLUTELY NOTHING with my interest in these two roll Sets !.......I don't care.......I like them......I want them... P.E.R.I.O.D. ...

Absolutely. Give them 3 years and you won't be able to sell them for $5.

Even I ordered to sell, not to get rich but I wanted to spend the profit to buy coins for the sets I'm working on.
