Quote: wif99 how did you already get 3 orders through? I haven't even been able to load through one successfully on two computers! If you are running 2 computers with 1 log in they are competing, you can not navigate if someone else is logged on the same acct. I have tried it several times

I ripped OFF three of my fingers with my own teeth ! AND I'm GOING TO RIP OFF MY THUMB JUST FOR THE HECK OF IT HERE IN JUST A SECOND !
But I finally got "logged in"..........then slowly progressing through.......then realized that I accidentally only ordered "ONE" Set, ......then corrected that......again ....ever so slowly.....then ended up with "FOUR" Sets instead of the three I wanted.......then changed my mind........then ended up with "EIGHT" Sets accidentally.....then realized this would be cancelled because of the 5 Set maximum.......then corrected that to "FOUR" Sets.......then got alllllllll the wayyyyyyy to the end.........FINALLY..........and clicked "Place Order" and it's been trying to process that "click" for about 10 minutes now !

I got an order in at 10:10 and my second order in at 10:49, and the order numbers are 5,236 apart. The US Mint needs an upgraded Computer Ordering system if it can only process 134 orders a minute. Imagine if Amazon or ebay could only process 134 orders a minute! They would be in trouble.

I accidentally got in 2 orders on different computers, with the same account, for 5 rolls each. I got the confirmation for both orders. I've never ordered from the mint before, will they just cancel one order and uphold the 5 roll limit or throw a fuss that I placed two orders and cancel them both? I'm a bit worried.
New here, thanks!

If you are lucky, the mint will cancel only the second order. Good luck!!

Finally finshed 4... all within the last 15 minutes probably. Site's working pretty good now. I'll be curious to see when these sell out. Maybe next time I won't wait for an hour and a half watching loading(or not loading) pages as long as I know they won't sell out.

So do they "sell out" after 96,000 exactly or whatever the quota was, which means that anyone who got an order in should be getting their coins (if solely based on roll availability)? Or do they just roll a die and say "I think it's time to put up 'Sold Out' now" and then fill 96,000 sets and whoever ordered the 96,001 set and beyond they say, "Sorry we've run out of coins!"? I'm just wondering why everyone's worried about getting 'acceptance' if they've already gotten their orders in. This is my first mint order so please forgive my ignorance of the process.

Yeah I think having multiple tabs didn't help, and possibly hindered. Also I was trying to check out the same shopping cart twice, one after another with different CC#s but it just looped through probably because theoretically the cart was empty but the website just didn't say so... somewhere in the dark abyss it was looping me through saying I had 5 items in the cart when I'd click "Continue Checkout" but deep down inside it knew that was the cart I had just checked out but it didn't want to tell me it was empty! That frustrated me only for about 10-15 minutes.
