1909 VDB Lincoln Wheat Penny Possibly Showing Doubled Die Reverse / DDR

eagle2a1 Valued Member United States 168 Posts	Posted 11/02/2024 03:11 am Ive attached a few photos of this 1909 VDB penny that appears to resemble the Wexlers 1909 WDDR-006 traits. Wexlers does not indicate between either 1909 or 1909 VDB for this WDDR. I tried my best on getting clear enough photos for the community to browse and indicate if its just too late for looking at coins or possibly a match could occur. Or, maybe I just missed looking at which WDDR it could resemble most and match. I defintely like the red brown quality of this coin which makes it fun to maintain this hobby. It looks like it could be a woody - judging by the extreme close up images, but a good over all look at this coin can help. But at the moment, not seeing any DDR here. Collecting since 1972.
