to the CCF, rurocking! That's a beautiful coin. How big is that slab?

Welcome to CCF and thank you for sharing.
This impressive very detailed and bright coin, congrats.
The coin though isn't my favourite in the series. I do feel, that the coloring visually makes the relief flat, covering all curves and light and shade play on the metal surface. The 2015 release is my favourite, the gold plating highlights the beauty of design.
**to bad I sold it few years ago, convincing myself that it is "not really a coin"

rurocking, awesome coin! For me 50 cents are enigmatic coins because I never saw them in circulation even when I grew up in the mid 60s. I started collecting coins in the early 70s and that's when I realized that they existed. The same can be said for silver dollars actually. I eventually learned about the switchover from silver to nickel in 1968 and never understood why the size of the 50 cent and dollar were reduced. I mean sure you change the composition, but why would you change the size? That said, 50 cents never really circulated in my lifetime. One of my favorites that I sent for grading unfortunately missed the ultimate 70...
