I love the 50 cent coins, silver or nickel! Save and trade. :-)

At the very least they are still worth 50 cents in Canada!

On a related note, are the nickel voyageur dollars from 1968-1986 still legal tender? I have a few of these lying around, it would be interesting to try and spend some of the more circulated examples. Might even get someone interested in coin collecting!

I use some marked/dinged ones as tippers at bars..............People love them. :-)
