PCGS - No, this isn't questionable color—it's the wrong metal entirely. This Jefferson nickel was struck on a one-cent planchet. The result? This PCGS MS63RD nickel looks like a penny. When the Mint's high-speed presses occasionally slip up, coins like this manage to escape—and bless our feeds on Mint Error Mondays. Have you ever found an off-metal error?
