Attached are a couple photos of this 1943 Lincoln Wheat penny appearing to show the L in Liberty linked to the rim of coin. Reading and listening to most materials Ive found says this was a common identity back in 50s or so. I also keep hearing about mis-alignment for pennies in certain time frames. My question is that these types of minor errors do not add a ton of value correct? ebay is such a different place for trying to understand real vs fake information.

Thank you for entaining these photos ans these questions as it may have been answered in the past somewhere. Fun times.

Pretty much normal for the time period. Little if any added value.

It's pretty normal for that era. No premium for that.

Agree with above. The "L" on edge was caused by the master hub spreading out from years of usage. The new master hub was replaced in 1969 and it resolved the issue.
ebay sellers have been listing these "L on Edge" coins for exorbitant prices for years, but they aren't errors at all.

This question seems to pop here on this forum quite a bit! It is normal. Plus you can use the SEARCH box upper left hand corner to get results for previous questions asked.

Thanks for entertaining coin question as I will try and put the search button on left into my tool box for looking into subjects. Lets just say I'm finally getting out of the flip phone stage too. Appreciate the replies as always. Rock on.
