Do you think LP2 will reach the same heights as LP1. I mean on ebay will you be able to sell them lets say for 30$ a piece. Should I buy more so i'd sell some later? thank you

If you mean $30/roll then yes - I think they will go up to and over that price. By mid-June the prices should settle down some but according to the U.S. Mint, the production of coins for the remainder of 2009 will be limited so the prices could stay high if the mintage numbers come in lower than LP1 (expected).

It should be fun to order these May 14. And then we will wait a month like last time to get the coins in.

Wouldn't touch them. They're still copper plated (cheap) zinc. So what if it's got a cool wrapper? I wouldn't touch it unless they wrapped it with a $14.49 bill.

**Wait... are there production limits on these rolls? Or are they just from demand? And why can't the mint fill any demands these days?

Patience pays off when it comes to these. For less than the cost of 2 sets I got a whole box and worked out a couple of trades with members here. So I'll have 8 sets and with shipping and packing materials factored in, for about the cost of 1 mint set. Just don't have the nice paper wrapped around them.

Oh yeah one more thing, I still have a few more rolls that I am willing to trade. P for D if anyone else is interested.

The first roll set was limited to 100,000 although I do not think that was announced in advance.

I wonder if the Mint will "package" more of these two roll Sets than they originally intended, because of the super fast "sell out" and so much "collector demand" with the first one.....combined with Banks NOT wanting any more coins. This would be "win-win" for the Mint....because the Two Roll Sets will most likely stay out of circulation forever.....whereas the "bank rolls" will be heavily circulated eventually, more likely than not.
If they're wanting to cut back on all mintage numbers of all denominations......then they'd just package more of what they have already minted with these......I wonder if this will happen and what will be the case, since, after all it IS the exact same business strike coin.

This will be interesting to watch and see if it climbs up to $80.00 - $100.00 like the LP1. And also to see if all four designs do this.......and then secondary, just how long they can actually hold that value ! .... .......I hope forever ! , But the "bubble-burst" will happen......and the prices will come down and level off. Just what that "leveled off" price will be after all the smoke clears this year, is what the most interesting part of this will be !
Some say the two roll Sets will come down to only being worth $1.00......giving nothing even for the Mint wrappers ! .....
I'm hoping that's not the case ! (and I don't believe it will be.....somewhere in the middle is my guess)
The "Bank roll" versus the "Mint roll" future value......for the "complete P & D four design Set".
I've never sold a coin in my life, so for me, it really doesn't matter !.....I'll just be cheering from the sidelines while sitting on my Two roll Sets !

I will be buying the LP2's if I can. I bought 5 LP1's. I kept 1 set and sold the other 4 on ebay for $100. I got my set for free and $60 that I used to pick up a nice little Mex 2 1/2 peso to add to my gold stash.
