I have found in rolls an SBA and a Sacagawea both on the wrong planchet. The SBA is manganese and the Sacagawea is nickel. Have you folks found this to be at all common among what's out there in circulation?
My guess is that someone dumped pop-pop's stash of "tribute" coins from Parade magazine ads. Would an XRF gun give a proper reading through plating? It is more intended to read solid bullion metals, right?
