Hey all!

Found this a few days ago and I've been going back and forth on the doubled die. There is a lot of spots with unusual thickness plus I think I noted a separated edge or two. I think it might be a late stage DDO-002 but don't want to jump to conclusions/ disregard other Possibilities.

Any assistance is always appreciated,
Thanks!

To CCF! Nice IIB BIE! The other things I'm seeing is mild Die Deterioration and Split Plating. No DDO. https://www.error-ref.com/split-plating/

Sorry, don't see the DDO on this one. But that is a great IIB (BIE)!

Thanks, I was psyched when saw that nasty glob!
I'm still trying to get a grasp on all this. Are the attached pictures now showing a doubling in the date? Specifically in the tip of the 9's it looks like there is a clear spread that increases the thickness of the digit. I illuminated the two pics from opposite sides which I think would rule out a flat/reflective smear from either md or DDD playing a trick on the eyes. Could this still be explained with a faulty/ old die?
Sorry for the deep dive, just trying to load up on all of it now so I don't make too many more mis idents

That fattening on the tails of 995 looks like circulation flattening to me,I see no DDO.Nice die chip though.
