Every time I was in St Louis I went to Robata
A lobster dinner with entree main course all the chefs acrobatics throwing onions to the ceiling and slicing them and an icecream all for 25 dollars when at the time it was like 75 dollars in Belgium
I was warned never to cross the bridge to the other side of St Louis which I did'nt
I also enjoyed Union Station small restaurant on the first floor with Alaska King Crab
I am an engineer so I only had to laugh when I saw the film of the construction of the arch gateway to the west where the last element did not fit and they had to use hydrolic jacks to get it
into place
But even in 1996 there were signs predicting changes acoming
I bought a dozen suits in virgin wool made to size at the NYSE
100 $ suite exchange all came from Korea
I worked for Monsanto at the time 64000 workforce when I started
Only 16000 or so when I got fired after they split of all chemicals under the name of Solutia

And people thought that Andy Griffith's Mayberry was a fictional town.

Let's all keep in mind that it doesn't matter where you live - whether it's a small town or a city. I know a lot of very educated and enlightened people who live in towns like Mayberry. Quite frankly, I'd like to live there myself.

Please be careful of generalizing and possibly offending someone even if it's not meant that way.

It is very sad that even the people who deal with our money for a living can't recognize our money.

I can understand that young people have never seen these coins, the coins are not distributed. They are as rare as a $2 bill. LOL, which also is not well distributed.

Mayberry was actually shot in a small town not to far from me in NC with the real name of Mt. Airy NC just in case any of you didnt know that. But I also live in a small town like that and I couldnt imagine living anywhere else, I do go to the big city (Charlotte NC) and I cant even stand driving there, I cringe everytime I think about it and when I have to sit in all that traffic it gives me a headache before I get back to my little small town I call home
