I'm just getting back into coin collecting and was looking to continue with Kennedy's. I have a few from the 70's.
My problem is finding a bank with rolls of Kennedy's.
No one seems to have any. I'm open to any suggestions or ideas on how I should proceed?
Thanks,
Bill

to the Forum! If you become a regular visitor you will learn a GREAT deal about the hobby here. I learn something every day.

As for the Kennedys, I too am finding rolls hard to find at some banks. You may have to widen your search to include more banks. You should also not restrict your search to just rolls because the tellers may have some in their trays. I went into a branch of my bank on Good Friday and they didn't have any rolls but this one teller had 14 in her tray and 11 of them were from the 60s (40% silver)!

They are getting harder to find -- we just have to be persistant.

Bill, ask your bank to order you a $500 box. You still get quite a variety of dates, typically in very good condition and will find the occasional silver one, too. Then when you are done return or spend them. Spending takes a little longer, natch. I have a good relationship with my bank branch that has a coin counting machine and I have no problem returning my picked through coins.

Thanks for the ideas.
I think I'll speak to the bank and try to order some, but will also ask the tellers for any take may be in their trays.
