Nice video - thank you, livingwater.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Although the Perth Mint is more than 3,000 kilometers by air from Sydney I regularly visit Perth to see relatives, and so Perth Mint is within easy access for me.

The Perth Mint was originally established as a branch mint of the British Royal Mint to produce British Imperial Sovereigns and Half Sovereigns from 1899. Today, they produce bullion collector coins in silver and gold as well as bullion bars. I have handled a 400 ounce gold bar in a safe room, and under strict security.!

The Perth Mint has produced the World's most valuable coin, - a one tonne gold coin, with a face value of One Million Dollars, current value around US$ 85,000,000. When I visited there, it was on display - you could walk up to it an give it a hug if you wanted to, just as Scrooge Mc Duck would have loved to have done !
